Reaction to: "Lancement de la Nouvelle Suzuki Swift en Guyane et en Martinique: Always Sexy" (2011)

A reading of the event organized by Suzuki for the promotion of the new SWIFT among women, I felt the need to share that with you and to know your opinion.

In fact, the new Suzuki SWIFT was addressed to woman and I understand when the brand organize special events for their. But do you think that the election of a MISS is the best solution to touch a woman target?

Is it not a way to say that woman is just a body which is only interested by superficial things or physical perfection (as we can see when we look the advertising of the "ALWAYS SEXY" version)?

For our brand there is a big cliché that humble women values.

Suzuki seems to think that they can touch and seduce women selling them a “sexy image” through a "sexy car". 

This brand really thinks that when a woman buys a car it is just for her appearance and her image?

I would like to say that the social image of woman today don't reflect the reality of woman. In fact, when we watch TV or just see the society in the street, we can see beautiful women which take care of them, but it not mean that they have stop to thinking.

The opinion and the choice of woman in a car sale is very important today and indispensable in numerous of families. Her choice is not only based on the esthetic characteristics. She thinks commodity, facility, family, etc.

So, for our brand is an outrage we see that Suzuki believes to can target women only selling them a “cliché image” of a “modern sexy woman” through our vehicle.

We would like to know your reaction and your feelings about this subject.  What do you think about it?

"Lancement de la Nouvelle Suzuki Swift en Guyane et en Martinique: Always Sexy" (2011)



For the launch of the new version of Suzuki SWIT, named "ALWAYS SEXY" in Guyana and Martinique, the brand launched a competition online for the election of "MISS SWIFT".


This action has been realised in order to promote the new version of the brand car, and obviously for to target women particularly, which are the main target of the car model.


The winner of this competition should gain the oportunity to pose for the next advertising campaign of the Suzuki SWIFT.
